# Can different products have different commission rates?

**Yes**, you can set different commission rates for different products by setting the **Special product commission.**
Special product commission allows you to apply different commission rates to specific products/collections while other products still follow the default commission rate of the program.

**__*Example*__**__*:*__
**Default commission:** 10% per order.
**Commission for product A:** 15% (provided that the merchant wants to promote this type of product).

**__*Step-by-step guide*__**
**Step 1:** Go to **Program** > **Edit**

**Step 2:** **Commission rules** > **Special product commission** > **Add product/ Add collection** 
At this step, you select the product or the collection that you want to apply a different commission.
In the example below, the product Sponge Cupke is set a special product commission at 15% percent of sales while other products commission are 10% as default.

In this order, special product commission is applied to Sponge Cupke, at 15% while commission for Sponge Cloudee is default 10% commission as special product commission set.

Accordingly, you can also set a different special product commission for any single product in your store.
