How to combine affiliate coupon code with the code of my own Shopify store?

You can let your affiliate discount codes work together with other discounts on your Shopify store.

Follow the steps below based on how your affiliate codes are created 👇

1. If codes are created automatically (from a program template)

1. Go to Programs → Edit → Customer discount.

2. In the Combinations settings, turn on the options based on the type of discount you want to combine with in Shopify:

• If your Shopify code is a product discount, enable product discounts.
• If your Shopify code is an order discount, enable order discounts.
• If you want to combine with shipping discounts, enable shipping discounts.

3. Click Save.

All affiliate codes created from this template will now follow these combination rules.

2. If codes are created manually

1. Go to the Coupons page and click the coupon you want to edit.

2. Under Combination settings, turn on the matching options based on your Shopify discount type:

• If your Shopify code is a product discount, enable product discounts.
• If your Shopify code is an order discount, enable order discounts.
• If you want to combine with shipping discounts, enable shipping discounts.

3. Important:

The Shopify discount code must also allow combination.

In Shopify Admin → Discounts → (select your discount) → Combinations, turn on:

• Order discounts (if your affiliate code is an order discount)
• Product discounts (if your affiliate code is a product discount)

4. Example

Let’s say:

• You have an affiliate code in BixGrow: AFF10 → gives 10% off the entire order (an order discount).
• You also have a Shopify discount: TSHIRT5 → gives $5 off T-shirt products (a product discount).

To let customers use both codes:

1. In BixGrow, enable product discounts for AFF10.
2. In Shopify, open the TSHIRT5 discount and enable order discounts.

✅ Now customers can apply AFF10 + TSHIRT5 together at checkout 🎉
